The Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber presented the April Image Award to the Law Office of Doward Keith Harvin, LLC. Mr. Harvin opened his law office, located at 417 West Broad Street in Hemingway, in 2011. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Harvin works with employers with unemployment benefit issues and is also serving as one of two assistant public defenders for the County. Mr. A native of the Taylor’s community of Williamsburg County, Mr. Harvin is a graduate of Hemingway High School and the University Of South Carolina School Of Law. He gives credit for his success to Mr. Jeffery Coleman at Hemingway High School who always challenged him, to his mentor Isaac Samuel Johnson who gave him his first clerk position, and to Ronnie Sabb who offered him his first job after graduation.
