About Us

The Williamsburgh Historical Museum is located in the old Carnegie Library building on Hampton Avenue in the town of Kingstree, South Carolina. An important property in the Historic Downtown District, the Carnegie Library was completed in 1917. It was in use as a library until the present library was completed in 2000. The Museum operates on membership dues through the Williamsburgh Historical Society and an occasional grant.
