Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber serves as the official welcome center for Williamsburg County. As the principal support of the local business community, the Chamber strives to advance the economic, social, and the historical vitality of the community. The HomeTown Chamber is an organization with a history of making a positive difference. It is composed of a diverse group of nearly 250 county businesses that are all committed to ongoing improvements of our economy, community, organization, and quality of place. The mission of the Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber is established to foster economic development, community renewal and a unified spirit to make the county a more prosperous, more beautiful and a better place in which to live and work. The following goals were adopted as a way to meet the mission and continue to move in the direction established by the organization vision:

- Have the entire county participate in Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber activities: geographically, racially, age and governments.

- Strengthen the local economy.

- Improve the physical appearance of the county.

- Preserve the history and charm of the county.

- Ensure that Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber is a financially secure, knowledgeable, well respected organization seen as a resource to the county.

- Partner with and support other groups working to improve the quality of life in the county.
